Welcoming Baby Dylan: A New Addition to the MirrorSphere Family
At MirrorSphere, we’ve always believed that our people are the heart of what we do. Whether we’re solving complex IT challenges, supporting our customers, or growing as a team, the strength of our business has always come from the incredible individuals who make up the MirrorSphere family.
Today, we’re thrilled to share some truly special news - our very own Chay, Operations Lead and customer favourite, has officially welcomed his first child into the world! Baby Dylan has safely arrived, and both mum (Shan) and baby are doing wonderfully.


A Project Like No Other
For those who know Chay, you’ll understand why this is such a celebrated moment within our team. He’s not just the operations engine behind the scenes - he’s the guy who always picks up the phone, the one who gets things done, and the friendly voice that our customers trust.
But as we all know, life isn’t just about work tickets and IT systems. Sometimes, life’s most important ‘projects’ happen outside of the office. And for Chay, this is undoubtedly his most successful deployment yet!
While we often talk about onboarding new team members, this is the first time we’ve had the privilege of welcoming someone quite so tiny. Dylan may not be logging into Microsoft 365 just yet, but we hear he’s already showing promising signs of being a future IT superstar.
First-Line Support in Training
We’ve joked within the team that Dylan might be ready to join our first-line helpdesk sooner than we think. Early reports from Chay suggest that Dylan has already mastered the core skills required:
✅ Ticket Raising: Instant notification (crying) whenever something needs attention.
✅ Escalation: Super quick to pass unresolved queries directly to Mum.
✅ Troubleshooting: Especially skilled in ‘nappy change’ scenarios - rapid problem resolution is key!
There’s even talk that Dylan has already implemented his own service-level agreements, particularly when it comes to milk delivery response times. As any new parent will know, meeting these SLAs can be quite a challenge!
Of course, while we’re enjoying the light-hearted comparisons, the real joy is simply seeing Chay and his family embark on this exciting new chapter.
