Step Into Autumn: Our Team’s Wellbeing Challenge
So this October we’re setting ourselves a different kind of challenge: a personal step challenge.
It’s simple, fun and gets us outside to enjoy the crisp air, changing leaves and maybe even a few four legged companions along the way.


How the Challenge Works
- Track your steps using a smartwatch, phone or a free app like Google Fit or Apple Health
- Submit weekly totals so we can keep a light hearted leaderboard
- Weekly prize for the top walker, sometimes techy, sometimes seasonal
- Not compulsory, join in if you fancy stretching your legs
Snap Autumn Along the Way
We’re encouraging everyone to take photos while out and about. Think autumn leaves, glowing sunsets or our furry friends tagging along. We’ll collect and share the best ones so we can all enjoy autumn through each other’s eyes.
The End of Month Wrap Up
At the end of October we’ll tally everything up:
- Total team steps
- Overall winner
- Best autumn photo
- Most improved walker
- Honourable mention for those who might need to get up and about a bit more
Why We’re Doing This
This isn’t just about steps on a screen. It’s about balance. A little digital detox from the constant buzz of notifications. A chance to enjoy fresh air, move more and boost our wellbeing. It’s also a great excuse to pause, notice the season changing and connect as a team in a different way.
