You might have noticed things look a little different around here. That’s because we’ve launched our brand-new website and freshened up branding.

We’d love to know what you think – and, no, we won’t be apologising for the gratuitous use of Basil the therapy dog. He’s everyone’s favourite anyway.

The whole team is feeling very proud of our bigger, brighter business and the future which we hope you will share with us. (Ok, there might be a couple of the guys that are at the back googling ‘brand identity’ but the excitement is there for all of us!)

We’re ready for whatever challenge you want to throw our way (preferably of the IT variety) and, while things look a bit new, we’re the same hardworking bunch who want to deliver the very best service to our wonderful clients.

We’ve grown up but we’re still us

Since we started out in 2007, we’ve grown steadily, not just in the size of our team, but in the way we deliver value to our clients.

We’ve thought through the services we offer and made them fit more closely with our clients’ needs, so you can pick a package based on the size of your business.

We’ve even got extra geeky and built out some stronger internal processes to make the business run more efficiently, which is just as much about showing up in the best way for clients too.

So, the launch of the new website is the cherry on the cake because there’s been a lot of activity going on behind the scenes. But it’s this moment that’s made everything feel real – we know this because Spence said the launch reminded him of the first time he rode his bike without stabilisers…

But there’s no wobbling here, we’re cruising and that’s not being at all big headed. We know because our lovely clients are telling us.

We’re really delighted to be working the incredible Oxfordshire Mind and super proud that Jess, their CEO, called us ‘gamechangers’. Our partnership with this amazing local charity has led to us helping them do their job more securely and efficiently which is a massive win for everyone.

One of the things we’ve really focused on as we’ve grown is retaining that personal touch. We never want our clients to feel like they’re a number in a call list so to hear Richard, CEO of Aspect Arboriculture, say we were “always accessible, responsive, and quick to fix problems, no matter the scale” was music to our ears.

Meet the team behind the tech

One thing we’ve always believed in is that technology should feel human (yes we’re a team of tecchies but that doesn’t mean we’re not people!)

Behind the scenes, we’re a tight-knit crew who genuinely enjoy what we do. Whether we’re deep in a migration project or blowing off steam with a bit of go-karting, the MirrorSphere culture is tight-knit and, yes, a little on the geeky side.

You’ll see more of that in what we share over the coming months; not just blogs like this, but behind-the-scenes snippets, lessons learned, and real people doing real work. No polished stock photos. No corporate jargon. Just us, and Basil, of course.

For anyone who’s not met him, Basil the black lab is our furry canine Head of Security (his ability to roll over for a belly rub will trip up even the nimblest of burglars). It’s probably fair to say, though, that his secondary role as our therapy dog is the most important one. He never fails to get a smile, and his constant roaming around the office means we pay the cleaners a whole lot less as he hoovers up everything in sight.
