New Ring Central Desktop App Released

Ring Central have just pushed out the latest version of their Desktop application for Windows.

New to 8.1 is enhanced Conference Call features. Now the Ring Central Desktop App has increased from a total of 4 participants to 7.

Another enhancement is the ability to select a Cover Page for a fax.

Also, the application now supports increased language support.

A few of the other enhancements include.

• Inbound caller ID now displays dialed extension alongside main company number.
• Added support for user roles defined in the account.
• High Definition voice is now enabled automatically by default and the setting removed from the applications.
• Improved application performance and memory utilisation.

Ring Central 8.1 Desktop Application is available. For those already using the application will be notified of the update next time they launch the application.
